Masters 2023 tee times, pairings, featured groups for Rounds 1-2 at Augusta

The field for the masters is set, as Scottie Scheffler looks to defend his 2022 green jacket, Rory McIlroy seeks his first, and Tiger Woods wanders from the humble position of the dog.

Day 1 began with a pairing of Mike Weir and Kevin Nateed at 8 am ET. (UPDATE: Na withdrew from the tournament after nine holes. F. to play one in Round 2.) From there, the players were stopped at 12-minute intervals. I’m at 10:18 in the woods, alongside Viktor Hovland and Xander Schauffele.

Scheffler held off at 1:36 p.m., McIlroy at 1:48 p.m., and Jordan Spieth, Tommy Fleetwood and Tony Finau leaving in the final group at 2 p.m.

Woods worked out in one of the groups, next to 10:42 I am the day of Justin Thomas, Jon Rahm and Cameron Young.
