Michael Salamone, known online as cloud coverit proves that hard work, determination and a little fortitude have gone from social media stardom to the Hollywood A-list.
This 24-year-old social media content creator and actor has quickly become one of the web’s top content creators, and it has nothing to do with luck or pure chance. His sweet personality and exceptional acting skills earned him legions of fans around the world, as he managed to amass more than one million followers in one year.
Growing up in a small suburb of Chicago called New Lennox, Michael wanted to become a tutor to the suit. He eventually attended Augustana College in Rock Island, IL, where he pursued a degree in philosophy and political science. However, along the way Michael found a new love and passion – acting creatively and content.
Notably, while he said his dream was to protect the suit, Michael quickly realized that after posting a few TikTok videos, the spotlight was the place he most enjoyed.
“I started reading more reviews and researching TikTok and social media because I didn’t know what they were. I was never introduced to it,” he adds. “After joining a few platforms, I immediately find that any time I can be creative, I jump at the chance.”

“I always knew I wanted to do something creative and use my growing social media presence to create new opportunities in the entertainment industry,” says Michael Salamona about why he chose this path. “It makes me happy to share my art with people all over the world, but when I came across this project, it seemed like another dream come true.”
Michael has been very vocal about how much he loves being part of this family movie and looks forward to more opportunities like this one. He hopes his journey will inspire others to pursue their dreams no matter how difficult it may seem because it can lead to unique opportunities if you keep pushing yourself.

Salamona has certainly gone from strength to strength from her humble beginnings on social media, from a network of family and friends to millions of people worldwide, seemingly overnight. His purpose and art study allowed him to create new business opportunities for himself, even more so that he strived to excel and try new things outside of his suggestion.

Michael Salamonae is currently located in his production team Promethea Creations, which aims to create creative possibilities for artists of any medium. Their first production, Shark in the Dark, is coming out soon and the content creators have a total of fourteen thousand followers. The film is based on true stories from Salamon’s life, and will be a commentary on how the troubled can lead to mental health issues.
“It’s incredible how much support I’ve received from my fans. I’m thankful for all the support I’ve received on my social media platforms that have finally led me here,” says Michael.
