PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program
The Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program is accepting applications until April 14.
To qualify, students must be 4 years old by July 31. Students from Finegayan Elementary School, JQ San Miguel Elementary School, Lyndon B. Johnson Martial School and Sablan Martial School will be prioritized; out-of-region applications, if slots are available.
Applications are available at any participating school, major offices and the Guam DOE central office or at gdoe.net. For more information, contact any participating school or the Division of Curriculum and Instruction at 671-300-1635.
Gifted and Talented Education Program
The gifted and talented education program is accepting pre-filing applications for the 2023-2024 Pre-Kindergarten GATE until April 14.
To qualify, students must be a resident of Guam and 4 years old by Aug. 31. In addition, students must participate in the visual motor integration test, the vocabulary test and the visual closure test and at least 130 one of the scores. tests or an overall score of 350
Applications are available at Astumbo School, BP School Carbullido School, Harry S. Truman School, Lyndon B. Johnson School, MU Lujan School, Machanaonao Elementary School or HB Price Elementary School or visit gdoe.net. A copy of the student’s birth certificate or passport must be submitted along with the completed application. Test is May 6-March 5.

PRIVATE SCHOOLS
St. John’s School
Registration is open for the Summer Riders program. Students can take the English Language Academy, Kinder Prep, Lower School and Camp and Middle and Upper School Camp where they explore new interests, develop important skills and be prepared for the Fall.
The first session runs from 14-30 June 14 and the second session from 3 July.

GCA Trade Academy
Applications are being accepted for the summer school program starting May 30. All public and private high school students are encouraged to apply. Summer school includes basic, entry level core and construction worker trades classes.
The rigger and crane certification class begins June 5. Students will be prepared for a hands-on practical and written exam and classroom learning to become certified crane operators.
Permanent registration for electrical, plumbing, heavy equipment operations, management design, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

- April 3-7: Holy Week. No classes.
- April 5: AOLG office hours are 8 a.m.-noon, opens April 11 at 7:30 a.m.
- April 10: Easter Monday. No classes.
- April 13: Open house and shadowing day 7:45 am-3 pm for incoming students.
- April 14: Dismissal 1:30 pm, faculty/staff meeting 1:45 pm
- April 26-28: Examine the old man.
- April 29: Placement testing for the 2023-2024 school year. An application fee of $60 and a placement test fee of $70 are due prior to testing. Releases made to the business office. Applications are available at the business office or at www.aolg.edu.gu.

College of Guam
Summer and Fall registration open. The first day of the Summer semester begins June 2 and Fall begins Aug. 16.
New and returning students can apply to guamcc.edu/apply or visit the admissions office in building 2000 on campus from 8 am-5 pm Monday through Friday. Academic advisors and financial aid directors will assist students in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The staff of the Health Services Center will be available to assist students with health clearances.
