Recently, the “2023 Asia-Pacific Region Outstanding Engineering Management TalentAward” evaluation, jointly organized by the China Construction Enterprise Management Association and the International Federation of Asian and Western Pacific Contractors’ Associations, has officially launched. This award, as a significant part of the Asia-Pacific Engineering Management Technical Exchange Forum series, aims to recognize individuals who have achieved outstanding results in engineering project management and made significant contributions to industry innovation and develop ment.
The evaluation is open to professionals in the Asia-Pacific region involved in engineering project management. It aims to promote innovative technologies and theoretical achievements, cultivate and recognize innovative talent, enhance industry innovation capabilities, and support regional economic development driven by innovation. The process includes the submission of evaluation materials, expert reviews, and award notifications, with the final list of winners expected to be announced in June 2023.
The previous award winners, such as Miroslaw J. Skibniewski and Zhang Ena, were highly representative, with their outstanding achievements and industry influence justifying their recognition. To ensure the professionalism and fairness of the evaluation, the judging panel is composed of renowned engineering management experts from the Asia-Pacific region, including top scholars and industry leaders from countries such as China, South Korea, Japan, and Malaysia. They will comprehensively assess the candidates’ innovative achievements from various perspectives and select outstanding individuals with significant contributions to the industry.
This year’s award evaluation criteria are stricter, covering four dimensions: technological research and development, economic benefits, industry vision, and social impact. Candidates are required to demonstrate exceptional performance in technological innovation, economic benefit enhancement, industry foresight, and social responsibility. Notably, the candidates’ technological achievements must not only be widely applied in the Asia-Pacific region but also produce significant effects in practical business, driving technological progress in the industry.
The 2023 Asia-Pacific Region Outstanding Engineering Management TalentAward aims to honor scientific and meritorious talents with substantial contributions and influence in the Asia-Pacific engineering management industry. We believe that, with the joint efforts of all participants, this evaluation will showcase even greater brilliance and inject more vitality and innovation into the thriving development of the engineering management industry.
